burt’s bees organic chemistry campaign
Burt's Bees exists in an interesting tension. The brand is rooted in nature but the efficacy story is increasingly clinical. Organic Chemistry leaned into that contradiction rather than resolving it, blending the visual language of a dermatology lab with raw natural ingredients to show that the two worlds don't compete — they complete each other.
I led the production from pre-vis through to set, directing the photographer and filmmaker to make sure what we captured matched what we'd envisioned. The OLV brings that world to life: beakers and chemistry instruments alongside echinacea and honeycomb, all in the same frame.
Science and nature, finally in the same sentence.
